I picked this up mostly for the novelty but the 96 pages are packed with ideas I actually want to try, and the step-by-step format makes even the fiddlier crafts feel doable. The recipes use everyday ingredients too, which sold me on it.
The crushed-cookie crust recipes alone are worth the price, and the 96 pages are crammed with projects my kids actually finished without losing interest. Some of the food crafts need a steady hand, but the step-by-step photos made it easy to follow along.
This 96-page book packs a surprising number of twists for the price, and the spiral-bound layout (once I saw it was from 1999) makes it easy to keep open while we're cookie-deep in frosting. The kids can't stop flipping through the craft pages, and honestly, me neither.
